Da Africa Deep real name Teleki Wilfred Mphahlele is a versatile house music producer born in Seshego, Limpopo in South Africa. The self-taught 24 year old growing up was influenced by Jazz legends like Hugh Masekela, his mother a former gospel artist and a few other Afro-house artists like Da Capo.
This has cultivated his ambient Afro-House sound that has a fusion of sounds from around the world.
Da Africa Deep’s musical creativity and direction emulates the depth and beauty of his home Africa, inspired by orchestra music and the idea of being a versatile musician, making music not a genre.
The Producer’s biggest break happened when Black Coffee discovered his music and DM’d him on Instagram which led to Da Africa Deep joining Soulistic Agency.
