Maksym Yermakov (born December 19, 1991), known as ODYSSAY is a Ukrainian musician,
live performer, singer-songwriter and producer. His career in the electronic scene began in 2020 when he released his first EP “Reborn” in duet with Indifferent Guy, which racked up over a million listens on Spotify. In 2021, the new single ‘Before you go’ quickly topped the radio charts and won the Kiss FM (UA) ‘Track of the Year 2021’ award.
The artist starts his solo career in 2022. He releases his first solo single “Freedom”, which is dedicated to the struggle of Ukraine for its independence, on the Black Hole Recordings label. A few months after the release, he shoots a live video from the country’s cultural heart, the Vernadsky Library, where centuries-old books and cultural treasures of the country are
preserved. At the end of 2022, he returns with two powerful singles, ‘Castle in the Sky’ and ‘Unbroken’,
which were written after the start of the war in Ukraine in the city of Vinnytsia. These tracks were written in one of the city’s studios, which was hit by a bomb two months after the recording and completely destroyed.
