Thandi Draai is a Music Producer, Songwriter, Vocalist, and DJ from Margate in Kwazulu Natal. She’s a humble soul, down-to-earth, ambitious, and is fast becoming a very influential brand in the entertainment industry. With her being the first woman of color in South Africa to have released a self-made EP, Down On Me and Ingozi. Her fierceness to acquire all 4 skills has gotten her much admiration and support from some of the biggest labels and artists in South Africa and Abroad. As recently – stated in the Mix Mag article of Black Coffee’s Africa Is Not A Jungle as one of the female producers to look out for. Some of her notable past shows include Abracadabra (U.S.A), Rive Gauche (U.A.E), Kunye, U.R , Drums Radio (NL), Nocal Music On 20(Angola), My Vibe My Tribe(NL), Black Coffee’s Africa Is Not A Jungle Online (SA), LockedDownHouseParty Channel O (AFRICA) and Moving Deep (NL), Boiler Room Johannesburg. Thandi Kicked off the year 2022 with her long-awaited Afrotech compilation, which was released by Music PowerHouse Get Physical in Germany. The Afrotech compilation is unapologetically African Techno, balanced by some of Thandi’s favorite Afro artists from all around Africa .The compilation is quickly climbing the playlist charts both locally and across EU. She also became the resident DJ on Ukhozi FM Bhampa2Bhampa show which kicked off in 2020 to this present day and also became the ambassador for https://www.gcf.org.za. She begin the year 2021 with Abracadabra Virtual Festival from Miami, sharing the stage with the likes of John Legend and Major Lazor to name a few.
