Biography
One of New York’s busier exports, Aaron James has spent the last 15 years rocking parties at home and across the globe. With skills forged in NYC’s vibrant club scene, Aaron is versatile with a capital V, while still dropping his signature style with every set. His dynamic repertoire, unique sound, and consummate professionalism are sought after by some of the most influential personalities and organizations in the world.
Aaron made his definitive mark headlining 2008’s Rock The Vote Tour, crisscrossing more than 50 U.S. cities, while helping to register over 2.4 million voters in the largest youth voter drive in American history. On tour he opened for such iconic acts as The Beastie Boys, Sheryl Crow, Eve, TV On The Radio, Santigold, Bootsy Collins, Talib Kwele, Jack Johnson, Bow Wow, Solange Knowles, Hawthorne Heights, Jazmine Sullivan, Buckethead, Tenacious D., actors Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Laura Dern, as well as Ms. America, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., among others.
The rest of Aaron’s resume reads like a Who’s Who. He’s opened in concert or collaborated with the likes of Elton John, Lil’ Kim, Eminem, Pitbull, Groove Armada, John Digweed, Kid Rock, The Wailers, PM Dawn, Michael Fronte, ?uestlove (The Roots), Poet Named Life (Black Eyed Peas), Alex Pall (The Chainsmokers), Graeme Hamilton (UB40/Fine Young Cannibals), Tomcraft, Havana Brown, Barbara Tucker, Lee Cabrera, Bart Claessan; post-concert for Pet Shop Boys, N.E.R.D., The Pretenders, and Detroit Techno legend Juan Atkins. As well, he’s rocked parties for Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, then Senator Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Paul McCartney, Tony Bennett, Lucianno Pavarotti, Russell Crowe, Derek Jeter (New York Yankees), Ron Wood (Rolling Stones), David Copperfield, pornstar Jenna Jameson, and renown artist David LaChapelle.
As well his corporate client list is extensive.
